Obituary for Valorie Elizabeth Ellison

Valorie Elizabeth Ellison, age 49, Middlesboro, KY passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was born August 14, 1967 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Jack Rains and Eileen Rains. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Delcie Daniels, Lee Daniels, William Rains and Nancy Sykes. She attended Dunlap Baptist Church.



She is survived by her son, Chase Rains and his wife, Lindi Rains; husband, Lonnie Ellison; parents, Eileen Rains and Jack Rains; grandchildren: July and Addeleigh; brother, Jeff and his wife, Audrey Daniels; twin sister, Victoria Rains; sister, Rhonda and her husband, Brian Bentley; nieces and nephews: Colby Daniels, Jordan Daniels, Joseph Daniels, Amber Bentley, and Brittany Gilder; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.



Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Daniels officiating. Music will be provided by Liza Daniels and Rev. Jack Daniels. Pallbearers will be Brian Bentley, Colby Daniels, Michael Gilder, Jacob Mencini, Jordan Daniels, and Joseph Daniels. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Daniels Cemetery in Smith, KY. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
